Battery with salt from Twente

Recently, Het Reformatorisch Dagblad published an article about one of our research lines, the NaCl-salt based battery, made with salt from Twente. This article highlights recent developments in sodium-based battery technology and its potential for long-duration energy storage.

Within our consortium, we are exploring a range of technological pathways to support the energy transition. The work featured here represents one of these approaches, demonstrating how advances in chemistry and collaborative research can contribute to more sustainable and resilient energy systems.
